Old cars are discarded because they are old, but their brand value never diminishes. Old bodies gather rust, the suspension loosens and ultimately the engine devours itself. The engine is a much powerful version of the present day Mustang’s with 435-hp, and it is bolted to a six-speed manual from Tremec and there is a nine-inch limited-slip from Positraction at the rear end. The assembly made the 0-60mph in just 4.5 seconds and hit the quarter-mile at 12.9 seconds speeding at 112mph. This timing same as the 2015 Mustang GT. It would have posted a faster timing than this but for the tire selection, which is massive overkill with335/30 at the back. These rubbers are suited more for Vipers producing 645-hp and for cornering, but for launches they add weight. The cornering for such a vintage looking vehicle is really amazing; it appears to be capable producing the same performance as the Mustang of the last generation. The Villain is not coming cheaper, and the price of $154,900 tells you that. The cost can be compared with the 100-point restoration proper, of the original and on completion it will offer you point type ignition and droopy body stiffness.
