Also known as the Toyota Vitz, the Toyota Yaris, manufactured by Toyota Motor Corp, is a subcompact car launched in the 2012 model year. The Yaris features a 3-door hatchback and a 5-door hatchback body style, depending on models. The vehicle is mounted with a front engine and bears a front wheel drive layout.
The engine line up of this vehicle includes a series of engines ranging from the 1.0 L 1KR-FE I3, the 1.3 L 1NR-FE I4, the 1.3 L 2NZ-FE I4 and the 1.5 L 1NZ-FE I4. The Toyota Yaris is driven by 5-speed or 6 speed automatic transmissions. Some engine models are fuelled by 4-speed automatic and the Japan market models of the Yaris carry a CVT automatic transmission system. Wheelbase of this vehicle is 98.8 inches.
