Manufactured by Toyota Motor Corp, the Toyota Avalon (also called Toyota Pronard) is a full sized luxury sedan with a 4-door sedan body style. Built under FF layout, the first gen (1995-99) model of the Avalon runs on a 3.0 L 1MZ-FE V6 engine producing 200 hp (150 kW) and 214 lb-ft (290 N-m) of torque; driven by a 4-speed A541E automatic transmission system.
Second gen (2000-04) Avalon sports a 3.0 L 1MZ-FE V6 engine (producing 210 hp and 220 lb-ft torque) fuelled by 4-speed A541E automatic transmission. The Third gen (2005-12) model houses a 3.5 L 2GR-FE V6 engine propelled by 5-speed U151E or 6-speed U660E automatic transmissions whereas the latest and the fourth generation Avalon is throttled by 2.5 L 2AR-FXE I4 and 3.5 L 2GR-FE V6 engines running on 6-speed automatic transmission system.
