Manufactured by Suzuki Motors Corporation, the Suzuki XL-7 is segregated into two generation with reference to its production and designing. The first generation of this car is a mid-sized SUV available in a four wheel drive layout. This model is powered either by a V6 2.7 L engine generating 185 hp of power or a V6 2.5L which produces power amounting to 156 hp.
The second generation of the XL-7 (XL7) designed on the GM Theta platform/GMT193 is propelled by a 3.6 liter V6 engine producing power of 188kw (252hp). Both these models are driven by 5-speed automatic transmission. The wheelbase of the later is slightly longer than the former’s by 2.4 inches, the former being 110.2 inches long.
