Mitsubishi Outlander information:

Mitsubishi Outlander, also known as Mitsubishi Airtrek, is a type of 4-door mid-size crossover SUV produced by a Japanese automaker company, Mitsubishi Motors, since 2001. The design of this car is based on the Mitsubishi ASX (Active Sports Crossover) concept, which was first introduced at the 2001 North American International Auto Show. It was designed by Olivier Boulay. It uses front-engine front-wheel drive and front-engine four-wheel drive layout.

First introduced in the year 2001 in Japan, the company used the name Airtrek, promoting its ability to travel off-road in all seasons, while retaining its ability to produce less emission with less fuel economy. The original Airtrek model was sold exclusively in Japan's Car Plaza dealership. In 2005, the company changed the name of the model into Outlander, following the production of the second generation model. Up to the year 2014, this model is still in active production, with the third generation started its production phase in 2013.
