The Mitsubishi Eclipse is a sports compact car. It has been created in between the years 1989 and 2011. The Eclipse has been created out of the collaboration between the two renowned car making companies namely, Mitsubishi Motors and Chrysler Corporation. Together they are called as Diamond Star Motors. Thus, the Eclipse is a creation of Diamond Star Motors or DMS. This car has been named after an unbeaten race horse that won 26 races. This car has also been rebadged and sold as Eagle Talon. It is a 2-door lift back coupe and 2-door convertible car.
