The Mercury Grand Marquis was launched in the year 1983 as a sedan and had a life span of 28 years. This sedan followed the version of Crown Victoria by Ford. However, later on it developed its own features that made it stand alone by itself. The fourth generation that was launched in 2003 and had only simple features added to it. Later the 2011 model had only slight changes when compared to the previous one. The four door sedan had a powerful 4.6 L V8 engine that offered 239 hp. However, the sedan lacked in usability features that made it takes a back seat among the other sedans. Later its production ended in 2012.
