Aston Martin Vanquish did not happen all of a sudden. The British brand produced 50 prototype cars and ran the cards through the R&D of Ford that tested them for various criteria. As soon as all the tests were cleared, it was introduced as Vanquish in the year 2001. Ian Callum created the design with features such as body panels in aluminum, chassis of carbon fiber, composites and aluminum. The iconic grille shape in this sports car and wide mouth were distinct features. The production that began in 2001 continued until 2005 and then when Vanquish S appeared on scene by the end of 2004, it began to receive good response and was considered the popular model of Vanquish series.
