The 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600 will rule with legendary features

Unveiled in the Los Angeles Auto Show, the 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600 is a depiction of the automaker’s classic styling and elegance. It wears a unique Maybach badge like the AMG and comes as a subgroup of the tripartite-protruded star. The exception with the debut of this new model is its loads of technological equipment, meaning it’s the finest-equipped and best pathfinder luxury car globally. Like its S-Class counterparts, updates include advanced telematics, independent driving options and powertrain.

The Maybach S600 will be equipped with a 6.0-liter dual-turbocharged V12 similar to the Mercedes-Benz S600 and churns out 523 horsepower as well as 612 lb-ft of twist, viciously running the vehicle in an electronic governor benchmark of 155 mph. The car gallops from naught to 62 mph in five seconds.

Apparently, space is the sales pitch of the Maybach, the length plus wheelbase is 7.9” more, all benefits go to the rear occupants. The rear compartment gives copious legroom and commendable headroom that allows stretching and is the most silent rear-seat pleasure. A complete panoramic sunroof comes as standard, privacy shades for the back glass and the interior is a warm recherché cabin. They are highlighted by the extensive and peculiar wrapped wood trim, the automaker’s logos inscribed on the C-pillar as well as into the centrally outfitted armrests, IWC-badge clock, chrome accents on speaker grille and ambient lighting with fiber-optics.

There is a Burmester 3D-surround sound, silver-coated champagne flutes, and tweeters in the tailgate that look like they are spiraling towards passengers. The back seats provide many options of adjusting power, including versatile backrest with a massaging option, and power calf supports. The class-exclusive luxury is notched by the footrest that is retractile from the frontal occupant seatback for relaxing. Cup holders offer cooling or warming options, finely trimmed tables are foldable from the back instrumental panel. The back air nozzles are uniquely finished in wood. Put in a nutshell, the car spawns a sumptuous mix devoid of garish manners.

The exterior is also modestly designed. The grille now boasts extra vertical chromatic strips; the triangular-shaped window is mounted on the C-pillar. Doors have been consequently shortened for passengers to hide after the rear-edge pillar while frontal and rear views all have more chrome trim. For customization, shoppers may opt for the Mercedes-Maybach S600 analogously to the common S600 with individual options for elite materials, wheels or colors. The whole setup of the car’s safety features is aboard in every respect, and the car comes with seat-belt bolstered air bags.

Once it hits the market, the Mercedes-Maybach is expected to come with an exorbitant price tag that defines class in show rooms. Do not expect the stratospheric stickers that are ubiquitous on other cars by the manufacturer. From an expert’s standpoint, it is an ingenious approach and one that keeps the Maybach brand conspicuous in the market. Undoubtedly, it will appeal to the buyers who are conversant with the luxurious intrigues of the Maybach.
