GMC is renowned in the auto industry for spawning highly-powerful trucks and pickups, however, this time they are buoying on the new 2015 GMC Terrain to capture extra sales in the lucrative SUV segment. As for its interior, notables include capacious cargo space, tons of technological applications, high-grade fit and polish and superb safety features. The MULTIFLEX rear seat feature optimizes the coziness and utility of the large SUV. The second row seats are foldable for a 60:40 split, recline for extra comfy and has copious leg and head room. Other refinements include the color touch radio, heated frontal seats, optional eight-way power driver’s seat, pioneer premium audio system and ambient lighting. Going a notch higher, the acoustics adopted include triple-layer door seals, windshield lamination and frontal side glass, and a laid-rear windshield angle.  

The exterior has a unique bold style and entrancing grille. The new GMC SUV blends design and handy utility. Its toughness and distinct peculiarities are highlighted by the tripartite element grille style, burly fender flares, projector beam headlamps and fog lights. All Terrains are equipped with aluminum wheels.

The infotainment and navigation is bundled in a practical, intuitive 7-inch color touchscreen as the command center for data and entertainment. It features a re-configuration home display, up to six pages of different settings and steering-wheel mounted controls. The color touch navigation includes multi-map views, SiriusXM traffic and weather, and numerous destination input means. There is also a rear seat entertainment system with double 8-inch diagonal flip-up LCD displays, color touch navigation, wireless headphones, video ports and remote. The available IntelliLink offers voice commands of the entertainment system, telematics and hands free gadget operation.

For safety, the GMC Terrain comes with a 360-degree of safety ensconced six air bags, including frontal, side-impact, thorax and head curtain alongside anti-lock disk brakes. Also conspicuous is the forward crash warning for all imminent collisions, lane departure warning, ultrasonic rear parking-aid and a sixth-months tentative subscription to the OnStar Directions and Connections Plan which is standard. The plan offers Automatic Collision Response, turn-by-turn navigation, roadside aid, emergency services connection, and remote door unlock.
